The Parish Office will be closed Good Friday and Easter MondayTriduum Tips
We are looking forward to the celebration of the sacred Triduum and Easter. We want to take this opportunity to offer some tips for the days ahead to keep you informed and to assist in keeping things running smoothly.
Holy Thursday–The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will take place at 7:00 p.m. The Mass ends with a procession to Schindler Hall where adoration will take place until 9:30 p.m. Please spend as much time as you wish in adoration but when exiting the church, please leave in silence.
Good Friday–Stations of the Cross will take place at 3:00 p.m. followed immediately by the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Good Friday service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Again, we ask that as you enter and exit, do so in silence.
Easter Vigil–we will begin at 8:30 p.m. near the school portico with the Easter fire. After the fire, we will process in darkness to the church. We look forward to welcoming our OCIA Elect and Candidates into our Catholic faith.
Easter Sunday–lower and upper level doors will be unlocked one hour prior to both the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses. Signs will be in the lower lot indicating shuttle stop locations. This assists our parishioners and visitors as the elevator can only hold a limited number and there are seven flights of stairs to the church level. For both Masses, there will be a limited number of chairs in the gathering space near the Sacred Library. Once those chairs are full, we will have overflow seating with a live stream of the Mass in Schindler Hall. Ministers will bring Holy Communion to Schindler Hall. There will be no standing in the Gathering Space due to safety concerns. There will be no standing along the back wall of church due to the Communion line. Please be aware that there will also be an officer directing traffic onto Beckley Station Road. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in making our Easter Masses safe and hospitable for all.
The Parish Office will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Reconciliation is also offered every Saturday* beginning at 3:45 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. before mass.
*No Reconciliation on Easter Vigil, April 4
